On-site Support Engineer (Backup)

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware and software incidents as a backup for various clients.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans for laptops, printers, scanners, and audio systems.
• Manage network infrastructure, ensuring the operability of structured cabling and network access.
• Coordinate external maintenance activities and manage equipment warranties with providers.
• Document all activities within the ticketing tool to ensure compliance with established SLAs.
• Perform physical maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and thermal paste replacement.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Communications, Networks, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in ICT technical support.
• Absolute availability to work 3 rotating shifts (Morning, Afternoon, and Night).
• Ability to work a schedule of 6 days on and 2 days off.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Willingness to commute to San José Iturbide, Guanajuato (100% on-site).
• Expert knowledge of Windows 10+ and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM and inventory management tools.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
