On-site Support Driver

Responsibilities

• Respond to live commercial operations by dispatching to autonomous trucks requiring on-site support or recovery
• Safely operate Kodiak vehicles and support assets during rescue, recovery, staging, and repositioning activities
• Perform driver-in and manual driving operations to maintain safety and mission continuity
• Execute roadside and yard recovery procedures in accordance with safety protocols and SOPs
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of support vehicles and assisted trucks
• Maintain continuous rescue readiness for tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Communicate status updates and resolution progress to the Command Center
• Support customer-facing commercial operations with professionalism
• Complete required documentation, checklists, and post-event reporting
• Uphold all safety requirements, PPE standards, CDL regulations, and hours-of-service compliance

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3+ years of recent, verifiable Class A driving experience
• Ability to obtain doubles and triples endorsements
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, MVR review, DOT physical, and practical road test
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform frequent sitting and driving
