On-Site Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite customer hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per contract
• Comply with and enforce all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
• Ensure accuracy of US DOT/EPA paperwork for hazardous waste disposal
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain professional client relations by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions
• Perform packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping of waste

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related science discipline
• OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper Certification
• Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B)
• 2-4 years of industry-related experience preferred
• Proficiency with Google Office
• Knowledge of chemical processing and waste disposal
