About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies based on industry standards and organizational needs
- Build applicant sources to meet corporate goals and track key talent metrics
- Manage full-cycle recruiting including job postings, resume screening, telephone screenings, and background screenings
- Schedule interviews and oversee preparation of interview questions and selection materials
- Collaborate with hiring managers on the offer process, including salary recommendations and start dates
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain candidate contact to provide application status updates
Requirements
- At least 3 years of significant recruiting experience
- Experience in federal contracting or the military sector preferred
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (BreezyHR preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to develop a strong online presence on LinkedIn and Indeed
- Willingness to travel out of state for job fairs and recruiting sessions
- Knowledge of EEOC/AAP, VETS, and DOL requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
