On Field Educator – Running

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of On footwear, apparel, and innovation
• Deliver engaging training sessions to retail staff on product features and selling strategies
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate product presentation and brand visibility
• Capture photos and submit detailed visit reports through the ThirdChannel platform
• Build strong relationships with retail partners to increase brand awareness
• Support retail partner events through product demos, community runs, and brand activations
• Perform competitive analysis and track marketplace trends to provide actionable reporting

Requirements

• Direct experience working in specialty running retail
• Personal connection to running culture (training, racing, run clubs, or coaching)
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple retail locations
• Proficiency with mobile technology and digital reporting tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned territory and weekend availability

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in brand representation, retail training, field marketing, or sales
• Experience working at REI, Dick’s Sporting Goods, or other athletic goods stores
