The Native Village of Eyak (NVE) is a federally recognized Tribal government based in Cordova, Alaska. Dedicated to exercising sovereignty to enhance the well-being of our people, culture, and homelands, NVE manages ancestral lands and waters spanning more than 55 million acres.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the on-call pool for the Food Sovereignty Department
  • Support departmental initiatives related to food sovereignty and community well-being

Requirements

  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Cordova, Alaska
  • Availability for on-call assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Connection to or understanding of the local community and food sovereignty initiatives
