O&M Head – Solar & Wind Operations

Responsibilities

• Monitor generation, availability, and key performance indicators across all operating solar and wind plants
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize plant efficiency and reliability
• Lead and mentor regional O&M engineers, site supervisors, and plant teams across multiple locations
• Manage EPC partners, inverter OEMs, and third-party contractors to ensure adherence to service-level agreements
• Ensure compliance with statutory, electrical, environmental, and safety regulations across all project sites
• Prepare annual O&M budgets, monitor operational expenditure, and optimize maintenance costs
• Prepare monthly operational dashboards and present performance risks and improvement plans to senior leadership

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering
• 8–12+ years of experience in utility-scale solar and/or wind power plant operations
• Strong technical knowledge of SCADA systems, inverters, transformers, and HT/LT equipment
• Proven experience managing geographically dispersed teams and multiple renewable energy assets
• Ability to travel periodically to project sites across South India

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or additional certifications in Operations Management
• Experience coordinating with DISCOMs, SLDCs, and other regulatory authorities
