Olefins Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply personnel and process safety principles in manufacturing facilities across the globe
• Use fundamental chemical engineering principles to provide design knowledge for steam crackers
• Participate in troubleshooting and development teams to address complex technical issues
• Assist operating sites with unit start-up, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations
• Apply risk management for new designs, projects, and technologies
• Train and mentor less experienced engineers in relevant technical skills
• Lead the deployment of fleet initiatives to improve profit margins, energy, and OPEX efficiencies
• Interface with key 3rd party vendors, suppliers, and global ExxonMobil stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 3-10 years of experience working in an olefins plant, refinery, or similar industrial environment
