Oil Broker

Responsibilities

• Arrange trades via voice broking on behalf of clients for execution at relevant exchanges
• Provide market intelligence and analysis to clients to promote the company
• Maintain and enhance existing client relationships through regular contact and tracking of trading activities
• Reconcile and enter trades in Trade Manager and relevant exchange systems
• Proactively solicit industry feedback via trade calls, surveys, and industry events
• Produce daily and weekly updates regarding market prices and direction for international desks
• On-board new clients following strict Compliance and Operations procedures
• Identify and seize new business opportunities related to market trends and products
• Adhere to all regulatory, exchange, and internal risk management policies

Requirements

• Proven experience in execution brokerage covering commercial clients (financial or physical markets)
• Deep understanding of price risk management
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and numeracy skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other IT systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build professional networks
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurized environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development
• Degree in Economics or a related field is preferred
