OHS and Environment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support management in ensuring occupational health and safety and meeting ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements
• Coordinate the OHS training system
• Supervise accident reporting and analysis regarding causes and corrective actions
• Coordinate work risk and occupational risk assessments
• Propose and implement proactive actions to prevent accidents and environmental incidents
• Report and supervise OHS and environmental KPI indicators
• Collaborate with authorities and company advisors regarding OHS and environment
• Maintain and update the quality management system according to ISO 14001 requirements
• Coordinate ISO 14001 audits
• Implement OHS standards for working at heights, pedestrian-mobile equipment collisions, LOTOTO, and more
• Promote safety and environmental values and lead the safety culture within local teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in OHS and Environment, preferably in an international organization
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
• Relevant professional education
• OHS Service worker qualifications
• Knowledge of OHS and environmental regulations and their practical application
• Familiarity with safety culture programs (e.g., BBSO, Safety Observations, VFL)
• Strong technical knowledge in safety topics such as WAH, LOTOTO, vehicles, lifting, and machine safety
• Ability to analyze incidents using methodologies like RCA and 5 WHY
• Ability to conduct organizational audits and lead corrective actions
• Communicative English proficiency in speaking and writing
• Ability to use OHS software
• Readiness for business travel (minimum once a week to the Wrocław site)
