Offshore Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensioning calculations for offshore structures including jackets, topsides, modules, and foundations
• Design and optimize offshore metallic structures considering technical, environmental, and economic constraints
• Conduct numerical modeling using finite element analysis and define load cases such as storm, fatigue, transport, and installation
• Analyze and interpret results according to applicable codes and standards like API, DNV, and Eurocodes
• Write calculation notes, technical reports, and justification dossiers
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate structural constraints during the design phase
• Participate in design reviews and follow-up meetings with internal stakeholders and clients
• Contribute to technological monitoring regarding new materials and offshore methods

Requirements

• Engineering degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in metallic structure calculation, ideally in offshore or industrial environments
• Proficiency in calculation and modeling software such as SACS, SESAM, ANSYS, Abaqus, or Robot
• Knowledge of offshore standards (DNV, API)
• Strong skills in structural mechanics and strength of materials
• Professional English proficiency for international projects
• Rigorous, analytical, and team-oriented mindset
