About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modifications to offshore cranes and equipment
- Assemble, commission, test, inspect, and maintain systems and installations
- Troubleshoot and fault find problems, liaising with onshore engineering
- Replace hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical parts
- Read and understand schematic diagrams and technical drawings
- Compile daily reports, technical assessments, and investigation findings
- Act as a communication interface between the customer and the organization on location
Requirements
- Minimum completed college or apprenticeship level of education in a technical direction
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in a technical environment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in English (speech and writing)
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Flexibility to deploy to various global locations (offshore and onshore)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of PLC
- Experience in at least two of the following: mechanics, electrics, PLC, or hydraulics
- Familiarity with offshore safety standards and requirements
