Offshore Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modifications to offshore cranes and equipment
• Assemble, commission, test, inspect, and maintain systems and installations
• Troubleshoot and fault find problems, liaising with onshore engineering
• Replace hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical parts
• Read and understand schematic diagrams and technical drawings
• Compile daily reports, technical assessments, and investigation findings
• Act as a communication interface between the customer and the organization on location

Requirements

• Minimum completed college or apprenticeship level of education in a technical direction
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in a technical environment
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in English (speech and writing)
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Flexibility to deploy to various global locations (offshore and onshore)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PLC
• Experience in at least two of the following: mechanics, electrics, PLC, or hydraulics
• Familiarity with offshore safety standards and requirements
