Offshore Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise commissioning and start-up activities for sea water treatment systems on FPSOs and offshore facilities
• Support mechanical completion, system readiness checks, and operational acceptance
• Supervise manufacturing, assembly, and testing activities at workshops and fabrication facilities
• Perform inspections and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
• Monitor installation and commissioning activities performed by contractors and vendors
• Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare technical reports, commissioning records, and service documentation
• Deliver operation and maintenance training to end users
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and offshore safety procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum experience in commissioning, start-up, and offshore operations
• Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Offshore experience, preferably within FPSO environments
• Valid T-BOSIET/HUET and OGUK certifications
• Proven experience with sea water treatment equipment (filters, membrane technologies, chemical dosing, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs
• Fluent English communication skills

• Portuguese language skills
