Offshore Methods Engineer - Pipeline

Responsibilities

• Manage the coordination of the method engineering group, including task allocation and workload management
• Provide technical and administrative guidance to subordinate staff to ensure project objectives are met
• Administer the working programme to ensure implementation aligns with plans, designs, and specifications
• Interpret, implement, and improve proposed design solutions
• Monitor and coordinate all phases of work progress, reviewing procedures, reports, and calculations from subordinate engineers
• Ensure technical coordination with the Client, including attendance at interface meetings
• Coordinate with the technical lead on board the vessel and provide backup to the installation team
• Ensure all checklists and installation records are completed according to procedures for QC compilation
• Participate in critical offshore tasks to ensure performance follows methodology and capture lessons learned
• Attend sites and carry out inspections to verify all requirements have been met

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction methods for pipeline landfall within the Energy or Oil & Gas industry
• Relevant degree or diploma in a related field
• Valid OEUK medical certificate
• Expertise in pipeline methods and landfall methods
• Strong team management and leadership skills
• Must reside in the UK and possess full, permanent UK right-to-work status (no sponsorship available)
