Offshore Installation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee offshore transportation and installation (T&I) activities to ensure project objectives are met safely, on time, and within budget
• Develop and evaluate fundamental T&I execution approaches and equipment
• Provide technical input for scopes of work, installation specifications, and tender evaluation exercises
• Coordinate internal and external interfaces with project management teams, advisors, and contractors
• Review and approve installation procedures, contractor studies, and T&I plans
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance activities
• Develop T&I surveillance plans and provide technical support to vessel teams during offshore execution
• Implement project management processes and demonstrate SSHE leadership behaviors

Requirements

• 5 to 13 years of prior installation engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a GPA of 3.5 or above
• Strong understanding of offshore transportation and installation equipment and methods
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to understand complex technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to travel to project sites (offshore) as needed
• Geographical mobility and willingness to relocate globally

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Offshore Installation Engineer, Coordinator, or Marine Warranty Surveyor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and virtual collaboration platforms
