Offshore HSE Officer

Responsibilities

• Ensure Project/Site HSE plans and procedures are properly implemented during offshore operations
• Report any HSE issues occurring on site to the upper HSE referent
• Liaise continuously with the workforce and supervision regarding HSE matters
• Conduct internal HSE inspections and deliver HSE inductions and training
• Monitor HSE procedure implementation to ensure compliance with safety risk assessments
• Maintain and update HSE procedures for specific operational tasks
• Monitor and report on HSE performance indicators

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in HSE or a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the Oil/Gas industry
• At least 1 year of direct offshore experience
• Professional HSE Certification
• Proficiency in English (fluent)
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, incident investigation, and risk management
• Knowledge of Aramco standards
• Valid BOSIET/FOET and NEBOSH IGC/IDIP certifications
• Knowledge of H2S, BLS&FA, and emergency response protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• International affiliation such as IOSH or IIRSM membership
• Awareness of CSSP/HIP, CSM, and Schedule-D (contract)
