About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning, tracking, and mobilization of equipment and personnel for offshore P&A operations
  • Liaise with Drilling Supervisors and Onshore Logistics Co-ordinators to ensure timely arrival of materials
  • Prepare and issue daily look-ahead reports and load lists to coordinate equipment arrival
  • Maintain an accurate Rental Register and control details of all company equipment
  • Coordinate movements of supply vessels and anchor handling vessels with marine/supply bases
  • Manage personnel coordination in line with offshore operational requirements
  • Liaise with aviation service contractors to coordinate crew changes and flight schedules
  • Inspect all equipment and goods shipped to and from the rig, reporting non-conformances
  • Ensure all operations comply with Oil and Gas UK Guidelines for safe packing and handling
  • Manage manifests and ensure the timely return of rental items and adherence to dangerous goods regulations

Requirements

  • Extensive offshore drilling experience, specifically in a Materials role within the UKCS
  • Offshore Survival Training Certificate, UK Medical, and MIST
  • IATA and IMDG certification (Dangerous Goods by Air and Sea)
  • Strong knowledge of drilling, completion, or well intervention equipment
  • Proven experience in drilling materials movements and logistical processes
  • Working knowledge of UK Customs and Excise requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of LOLER and PUWER
