Offshore and Wind Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Assembling, installing, and testing systems and installations
• Replacing components (hydraulic/electrical) and steel cables
• Acting as a communication interface between the customer and the organization on-site
• Performing general inspections and research into identified problems
• Providing reports following completed work, tests, or investigations
• Working in the workshop during the first six months and occasionally providing support there later
• Traveling internationally (60-70% of the time) to client locations, including offshore sites

Requirements

• Technical education
• 1 to 5 years of relevant technical work experience
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of at least two disciplines: mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Flexible, proactive, and a team player
• Preferably familiar with offshore safety standards and requirements
