About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage physical and digital files, including organizing, filing, and retrieving documents
- Process incoming mail by opening, scanning, and uploading documents to the client database
- Convert files to various formats using Adobe PDF
- Serve as mailroom backup, coordinating deliveries via UPS, USPS, and FedEx
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as breaking down boxes to maintain an organized workspace
- Support front office and office manager duties as needed
- Assist the QA Manager with quality reviews of documentation and maintaining legal documents as a future responsibility
Requirements
- 1–3 years of office administration or document management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move items up to 40 lbs
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a law firm
