About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to develop and lead a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive team for the Toronto office
  • Develop and implement an annual business plan to achieve top-line growth targets
  • Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating the Living-Centered Design ethos
  • Drive office growth through new business development and client partnerships
  • Foster a design-focused culture and champion innovation in project approaches
  • Lead talent acquisition, including the recruitment of Market and Client Leaders
  • Mentor and coach staff to develop future leaders
  • Partner with regional leadership on project management, risk management, and office profitability
  • Represent the office at regional leadership meetings and external engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience with a proven track record in business development and top-line growth
  • Strong communication and ability to motivate high-performing teams
  • Business acumen and ability to execute strategic plans
  • Ability to manage risk and demonstrate sound judgment
  • Willingness to travel as required

  • Master's degree
  • Professional licensure
  • Relevant industry certifications or training
