About the Company

Nectar Social is building the AI-native social operating system that enables a new era of commerce. Founded by ex-Meta product and engineering leaders, the company has raised over $30M from investors including GV and True Ventures, working with brands like Oura Health and e.l.f. Cosmetics.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day operations of the Palo Alto office, including front-of-house, supplies, kitchen, and general upkeep
  • Manage vendor and building relationships including cleaning, IT/AV, facilities, catering, and security
  • Plan and run company events end-to-end, including quarterly company onsites
  • Coordinate team travel and accommodations for onsites, offsites, and business travel
  • Own the onboarding experience, ensuring equipment and accounts are ready for new hires
  • Manage employee lifecycle logistics including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS, and benefits administration
  • Support recruiting operations, including interview scheduling and candidate logistics
  • Maintain HR compliance and documentation, including I-9s and employee handbooks
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding people, workplace, and logistics
  • Manage workplace and events budgets and expense tracking

Requirements

  • 3+ years in office management, workplace operations, and/or people operations
  • Experience ideally at a high-growth startup
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Strong, warm communicator comfortable with vendors and internal teams
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, ATS, PEO platforms, and Slack
  • Ability to work in the Palo Alto office five days a week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience standing up HR or office infrastructure from scratch at an early-stage company
  • Prior end-to-end ownership of company events or offsites
  • Familiarity with PEO models and tools like Ashby, Sequoia One, and Brex
  • Fluency with modern AI tools
