Office Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead office expansion and build-out projects including site selection, lease negotiation, and construction management
• Manage workplace strategy by translating headcount growth into workspace requirements
• Oversee facilities and operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and building regulations
• Own workplace safety, security, and emergency procedures
• Manage the workplace and facilities budget, including CAPEX and OPEX
• Coordinate with corporate IT for networking, A/V systems, and workplace technology
• Manage the office administration team and vendor relationships

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or facilities management
• Proven track record of managing office expansion or build-out projects in high-growth environments
• Experience in a multinational company (MNC) or tech company
• Strong project management and vendor management skills
• Experience with lease negotiation and budget management
• Knowledge of Hong Kong building regulations and workplace safety requirements
• Fluency in English and Cantonese
• Proactive mindset suitable for a startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consumer tech, e-commerce, or high-growth startups
• Experience with greenfield office setups
• Degree or certification in Facilities Management or Project Management (PMP)
• Familiarity with workplace systems like IWMS or access control platforms
• Proficiency in Mandarin
