About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee general office operations, including greeting visitors and managing high-volume phone calls.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and calendars for Program Directors.
- Provide administrative support to federally-funded TRiO programs to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage travel coordination, including flights, hotels, and vehicle reservations.
- Handle purchasing of office supplies and equipment while maintaining proper stock levels.
- Assist with budget reconciliation and maintain financial documentation.
- Produce reports, compose correspondence, and draft new contracts or presentations.
- Mentor, train, and coach office staff and delegate assignments to ensure productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five years of experience in office administration.
- Proven experience in office management.
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience supervising staff, delegating tasks, and providing mentorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management training.
- Proficiency in event planning or communications.
