About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to NEXT Virginia leadership and coordinate administrative calendars
- Manage conference room calendars and arrange catering services for meetings and interviews
- Prepare expense reports and arrange domestic and international travel for executive staff
- Negotiate contract pricing and manage supplies for the office, patient areas, and break rooms
- Maintain the phone directory and serve as the main contact for equipment repairs
- Review and approve vendor invoices for the accounting department
- Supervise housekeeping staff and manage mailroom operations
- Order marketing, promotional, laboratory, and office supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or completion of a certificate program
- Five years of experience in a medical or research setting
