About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct and execute the overall sales and profitability of the office location
- Manage human resources including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Serve as a liaison between doctors and the office team to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain facility standards, including safety, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements
- Oversee day-to-day operations such as scheduling, inventory assessment, and supply ordering
- Monitor and enforce company cash handling policies and financial documentation
Requirements
- Proven management experience
- High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to pass a background check as required by the state
- Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry-related experience in eye care or retail management
- Professional certifications such as ABO, NCLE, or LDO
- State Optician’s License (where required by the company)
