About the role
Responsibilities
- Assign work to subordinates and establish completion schedules
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of data through quality assurance
- Coordinate clinical provider availability for smooth clinic operations
- Review staff work and evaluate performance
- Train subordinates in new procedures and office policies
- Prepare and edit correspondence and serve as site Communications Coordinator
- Act as a liaison between the center and other government agencies or the public
- Monitor and sign off on time and leave for clerical and temporary staff
- Participate as an active member of the chest center management team
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and 3 years of progressive clerical/administrative experience (including 1 year of supervisory experience)
- OR Associate degree and 4 years of progressive clerical/administrative experience (including 1 year of supervisory experience)
- OR High school diploma and 5 years of progressive clerical/administrative experience (including 1 year of supervisory experience)
- Must be a permanent employee in the title or reachable on the Principal Administrative Associate Civil Service list
