About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dean and Associate Dean with clerical support and calendar management
- Supervise office staff, including monitoring productivity, attendance, and vacations
- Guide students through the certification and licensure process via TEACH
- Input recommendations for certification and complete necessary licensure documentation
- Maintain accurate records for accreditation purposes
- Coordinate campus events, including managing catering, invitations, and equipment rentals
- Serve as a liaison to Purchase College regarding facilities, parking, and utilities
- Manage office operations such as ordering supplies, tracking graduation reports, and processing stipends or reimbursements
Requirements
- Highly organized with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with faculty, staff, and students
- Ability to learn and effectively use University and NYS administrative platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
