Office Engineer Water

Responsibilities

• Support all administrative actions of the Resident Engineer
• Manage documentation and processing for change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, and transmittals
• Perform engineering support tasks, including assisting with engineering calculations
• Monitor and control field quality control surveys, materials tests, and quantity calculations
• Maintain submittal and RFI logs using project software tools
• Maintain document control logs and construction scheduling
• Assist with the processing and resolution of Contract Change Orders (CCO)
• Prepare monthly construction status reports and attend weekly field meetings
• Process Design Service Requests (DSR), survey requests, and material testing requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency
• Experience with New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) projects
• Ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically as an Office Engineer on water or wastewater projects
• Proficiency in processing water/wastewater-related project documentation
• EIT (Engineer In Training) qualification
