About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage field engineering assignments including the development of plans, schedules, contracts, and construction methods.
  • Distribute and track Daily Reports, Monthly Reports, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Perform data entry within the Project Control Management System and client Document Control Systems.
  • Assist the Project Manager with administrative and technical tasks.
  • Attend meetings, record minutes, and manage their distribution.
  • Update project logs and manage change order audits.
  • Coordinate with contractors in both office and field environments.
  • Review subcontractor performance to ensure contract compliance and adherence to construction standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, a construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in field construction.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes and industry practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam, ProCore, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the construction of large civil/structural or industrial projects.
  • Previous experience working with Amtrak projects.
