About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to associate deans, directors, and other leadership roles
- Manage daily operations including calendars, appointments, and correspondence
- Oversee budget tasks such as credit card reconciliation, travel expense processing, and tracking expenditures
- Coordinate event planning, programming needs, and student experiences for various initiatives
- Research and coordinate travel arrangements including lodging, ticketing, and airfare
- Manage special projects and provide administrative support to external partnerships and media communications
- Supervise and organize student employees and manage faculty advisor contracts
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with budget reconciliation and financial tracking
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least two years of administrative support experience, ideally supporting executives or deans in an educational environment
