About the role

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and direct as necessary
  • Set up new accounts in company systems and notify relevant departments
  • Source credit reports and maintain electronic and manual filing systems
  • Process daily deposits, cheque scanning, and daily balancing
  • Manage credit card payments using Versapay
  • Review and address undelivered invoice reports
  • Investigate and send out daily cash applications short payments
  • Manage inventory for office supplies
  • Perform special projects and other tasks as requested by management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years office experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • College or University degree (preferably in finance or business-related field)
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office administration role
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
  • Experience with Windows 11
