About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and direct as necessary
- Set up new accounts in company systems and notify relevant departments
- Source credit reports and maintain electronic and manual filing systems
- Process daily deposits, cheque scanning, and daily balancing
- Manage credit card payments using Versapay
- Review and address undelivered invoice reports
- Investigate and send out daily cash applications short payments
- Manage inventory for office supplies
- Perform special projects and other tasks as requested by management
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years office experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- College or University degree (preferably in finance or business-related field)
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office administration role
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience with Windows 11
