Offensive Security Intern

Responsibilities

• Work with the Offensive Security Team to understand the Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) process
• Assist in performing basic vulnerability assessments and supporting ongoing penetration testing activities
• Support the team in identifying, validating, and documenting security vulnerabilities
• Assist in reconnaissance and information gathering activities under guidance
• Participate in labs, simulations, and internal exercises to build offensive security skills
• Complete training on offensive security tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, or Nmap
• Assist in preparing reports, project documentation, and proof-of-concept (POC) materials

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, the OSI model, and common protocols (HTTP/S, DNS, SMB, SSH)
• Working knowledge of Linux command line (Kali, Parrot, or Ubuntu)
• Scripting fundamentals in Python or Bash
• Familiarity with offensive security concepts and the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Exposure to tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, or Metasploit
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on practice via platforms like Hack The Box, TryHackMe, or CTF participation
• Offensive security certifications such as OSCP/OSCP+, PNPT, CRTP, eCPPT, or eJPT
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and web application security concepts
• Proficiency in Arabic
• A documented learning trail such as a GitHub profile, technical blog, or write-ups
