Off Site Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly routine inspections and replacements per established schedules
• Prepare units for occupancy including cleaning, disinfecting, painting, patching, and replacing hardware
• Order maintenance supplies and maintain inventory of tools and equipment
• Oversee maintenance of lawns, garden areas, and sprinkler systems
• Keep walkways and parking areas free of debris
• Maintain accurate work order logs and repair/replacement files
• Report health and safety hazards, injuries, and accidents immediately
• Solicit bids for necessary work as directed

Requirements

• Experience in routine repair and maintenance of buildings, landscaping, and appliances
• Ability to work and make decisions without supervision
• Physically able to perform maintenance tasks
• Well organized and able to accurately record information
• Valid California driver’s license with a good driving record and automobile insurance
• Reliable transportation and willingness to use own automobile for work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building trades
