Off Duty Police Officer

Responsibilities

• Work with the venue security team to preserve safety, order, and protect venue property
• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited articles from entering restricted areas
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from the premises
• Write reports regarding daily activities, irregularities, property damage, or unusual occurrences

Requirements

• Active or retired security or law enforcement experience
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner with acute judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• Ability to walk and climb stairs constantly
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs+
