About the role
Responsibilities
- Forecast and close deals at designated existing OEM accounts
- Identify and acquire new prospective OEM accounts through strategic sales development
- Conduct technical product and solution demonstrations at customer sites
- Adapt sales pitches to various high-level contacts, including CEOs, CTOs, and engineers
- Negotiate effectively in high-pressure, competitive environments
- Coordinate technical evaluations and benchmarks with the Vertical Applications Engineering team
- Maintain and update all project information within the CRM tool
- Support trade shows and other marketing events
Requirements
- Technical Degree or equivalent professional work experience
- Proven sales track record within the automation industry, specifically addressing machine builders and OEMs
- Experience operating in a solutions-based sales environment
- Demonstrated experience selling technical products to engineers and production managers
- Proficiency with MS Windows and standard PC applications
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
