Odoo Developer

Responsibilities

• Build new Odoo modules and customize existing ones to meet specific client requirements
• Perform code reviews, testing, and deployment using Odoo.sh
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems including Shopify, payment gateways, e-invoicing, and banking
• Collaborate with implementation consultants to translate business needs into clean, efficient code
• Maintain shared internal libraries used across six ARMOR Group companies

Requirements

• Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years of professional Python development experience
• 2+ years of experience building Odoo modules (specifically Odoo 15-18)
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including queries, performance tuning, and indexes
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Odoo's OWL frontend framework
• Experience with Git workflow and Odoo.sh deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo Functional Certification
• Experience implementing UAE VAT and WPS within Odoo
• Fluency in the Arabic language
• Knowledge of Linux administration, Docker, or CI/CD basics
