Odoo Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle using the Odoo ERP platform
• Oversee project-based revenue recognition, cost tracking, and profitability
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements including VAT, Zakat, and ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing
• Prepare financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including multi-currency transactions
• Handle vendor invoice cycles and monitor collections and aging reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain audit documentation and support external audit processes
• Automate accounting tasks and collaborate on Odoo customizations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–6 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Minimum of 2 years of extensive experience working with Odoo ERP
• Deep knowledge of Saudi VAT, ZATCA e-invoicing, and Zakat requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
• Strong understanding of IFRS and SOCPA standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA
• Experience working within the technology, IT services, or system integration sectors
