About the role
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales revenue and product goals with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Communicate complex clinical information to ophthalmic surgeons, billers, and administration
- Develop critical physician and ASC staff relationships within the assigned geography
- Provide weekly new business forecasts and updates
- Record all sales activity in Salesforce CRM
- Maintain in-depth professional understanding of Harrow surgical peri-operative products
- Collaborate with internal departments and act as a liaison for customer complaints
- Manage expenses and comply with all industry, state, and federal regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years of successful ophthalmology sales experience
- Experience with buy and bill sales or ophthalmic medical device sales preferred
- Proven ability to build and foster longstanding customer relationships
- Experience executing strategic and targeted business plans
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned geography on a routine basis (up to 100% field travel)
