Ocean Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute booking and documentation processes with clients and carriers
• Perform timely shipment troubleshooting and exception handling
• Collaborate with Account Management and Planning teams to ensure effective end-to-end export processes
• Plan and execute special freight operations such as DG and reefer
• Support internal and external clients with operational expertise
• Inform business process and software capability needs to improve quality and efficiency
• Contribute to the development of procedures and systems to differentiate operations

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 1-2 years of experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or Consulting (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and structured thinking
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and a client service mindset
• Flexibility to work outside standard office hours or occasional weekends/nights if required
