Ocean Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute booking and documentation processes with clients and carriers
• Perform timely shipment troubleshooting and manage exception escalations
• Collaborate with Account Management and Planning teams to ensure effective end-to-end export processes
• Plan and execute special freight operations, including dangerous goods (DG) and reefer shipments
• Support internal and external clients by providing operational expertise and decision support
• Contribute to the development of procedures and software capabilities to improve scalability and efficiency

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 1-2 years of experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or Consulting (high-performing fresh graduates may be considered)
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and structured thinking
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and a client-service mindset
• Flexibility to work outside standard office hours, including occasional weekends or night shifts if required
