Ocean Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end movement of shipments including Ocean LCL imports and exports
• Lead business implementation and shipment execution for new clients
• Coordinate day-to-day supply operations with LCL, Transload, Trucking, and Warehouse activities
• Execute booking and documentation processes with carriers and clients
• Perform shipment troubleshooting and exception handling
• Analyze subcontractor performance data to inform management initiatives
• Implement and test scalable operational infrastructure and procedures
• Coach junior specialists on daily tasks
• Plan and execute special freight operations such as DG and reefer

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and structured thinking
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and a client service mindset
• Flexibility to work outside standard office hours, including occasional weekends or night shifts
