About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, intervention, consultation and education services for geriatric and musculoskeletal patients
  • Collaborate with inter-professional teams to provide patient-focused care
  • Develop and maintain community resource networks
  • Provide training and supervision of Occupational Therapy students
  • Participate in quality management and research initiatives
  • Adapt to cover across various units based on operational needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (B Level or C Level) certification
  • Experience in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions
  • Strong clinical skills in patient goal setting and treatment interventions
  • Computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in geriatrics
  • Membership with professional associations such as CAOT or OSOT
  • ADP Authorizer status
