Occupational Therapist - Therapy Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using therapeutic procedures and assistive devices to maximize functional potential
• Act as the primary liaison between the facility interdisciplinary team and the therapy department
• Represent the therapy department at facility meetings and care conferences
• Manage patient and therapist schedules in coordination with primary therapy and MDS staff
• Provide therapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care, or Home Health settings

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current state license/certification
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
• Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in rehabilitation
