About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments and identify patient needs and target developmental goals
- Document and maintain Plans of Care, progress notes, and clinical records
- Assess and facilitate ROM, strength, coordination, and functional mobility
- Evaluate adaptive equipment needs and environmental modifications for ADL performance
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and data
- Demonstrate professional behavior and competence with crisis intervention
- Facilitate effective training with parents and staff
Requirements
- Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist
- Two years of direct service work in a treatment setting preferred
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
