About the role
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Fabricate and fit custom splints based on patient diagnoses
- Provide evidence-based interventions to improve upper extremity function
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Requirements
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current state of Florida license
- CPR certification
- Compassionate and patient-focused personality
