About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to patients in an inpatient stroke setting
- Complete comprehensive functional assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective discharge planning
- Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in stroke rehabilitation (inpatient or community setting)
- Strong understanding of stroke pathways and rehabilitation strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
