About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide effective Occupational Therapy services to children within their homes
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions in family settings
- Support and carry out individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with social care, healthcare, and SEN staff to establish support programs
- Complete administrative duties including data input and record keeping
Requirements
- Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC
- Experience working with pupils aged 7-18 with Occupational Therapy needs
- Knowledge of Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ASD, ADHD, and associated conditions
- Experience in clinical assessment and implementing intervention programmes
- Excellent interpersonal and empathy skills
- Ability to manage own time and caseload
