About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions within an acute inpatient environment
- Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions
- Contribute to admission avoidance strategies, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
- Deliver patient-centered care, adapting to individual needs and goals
- Participate in weekend and extended hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), subject to discussion
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Proven experience in acute inpatient care
- Strong understanding of discharge pathways and admission avoidance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
