Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes
• Assess functional abilities and design personalized treatment plans
• Develop adaptive strategies and solutions to support independence and safety
• Provide education, hands-on training, and encouragement to patients and families
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACOTE accredited occupational therapy program
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid automobile insurance
• Willingness to travel daily for home visits within the service area

Preferred Qualifications

• Home health experience
• Experience with adaptive equipment and home modifications
• Knowledge of Medicare home health documentation
