About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized and non-standardized assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to pediatric developmental and functional needs
  • Update plans of care based on clinical progress and client goals
  • Provide in-person, clinic-based occupational therapy services to pediatric clients
  • Use evidence-based approaches to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, self-care, visual-motor integration, executive functioning, and play
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including daily session notes, progress reports, evaluations, and discharge summaries
  • Communicate with families regarding client progress and recommendations
  • Collaborate with other treating therapists to support coordinated care

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active DC OTR/L license
  • Excellent clinical reasoning, documentation, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
